Attorney Mark A. Johnson advises employees in discrimination and retaliation cases. He has volunteered many hours of his time representing unemployed individuals pro bono in unemployment compensation cases. While in law school, he worked at a well-respected workers' compensation firm assisting injured workers.
After graduating law school, Mark moved to Washington, DC, where he served as Legislative Counsel to a Congressman representing his hometown in Iowa. His legislative portfolio included Labor, Judiciary, Ethics, Crime, Consumer Protection, and Telecommunications. Mark thoroughly enjoyed his time on Capitol Hill, and hopes to hold elected office in the near future.
In 2010, Mark moved back to Pittsburgh. He later worked for a major employee-side law firm. He has also worked on several large litigation projects throughout the years.
Mark is an Eagle Scout and a general lover of nature. When not working at Elzer Law Firm, he enjoys video games, gardening, Japanese language and culture, and drawing.
